The Black Canyon Ultras are two point-to-point races of 50 and 100 km that run on consecutive days over a weekend, using a non-motorized national trail that consists of singletrack trails, jeep tracks and an old stagecoach route.

Black Canyon Ultras follows a route used since the times of pre-historic Native American travellers and traders, the trail travels through a spectacular swath of the Sonoran Desert. The landscape includes saguaro forests, rugged canyons, and views of the Bradshaw Mountains to the west.

First run in 2014 and has had some of the best runners cross the finish line, including Tim Freriks, Tom Evans, Hayden Hawks, Sage Canaday, Clare Gallagher, Heather Jackson and Camille Herron
