The North Face Transgrancanaria has it all: beach and mountain; forest and desert; city and picturesque villages; cold at night and hot in the morning. The original and most recognized race consists of 126 km where runners will experience a journey both mentally and physically challenging making this ultra unforgettable.

First run in 2003, Transgrancanaria was the first ultra race in Spain. Every February, thousands of runners make the pilgrimage to the island of Gran Canaria, a 1000km from Europe and barely 100km from Africa, attracted by the unique landscapes including the photogenic Roque Nublo. A spectacular island in which in a matter of minutes you can go from lush pine forests to desert.

The North Face Transgrancanaria has seen the best: Marco Olmo, Courtney Dauwalter, Andreu Simón, Pau Capell, Caroline Chaverot, Fernanda Maciel, Sebastian Chaigneau, Azara García de los Salmones, Ryan Sandes… The extensive coverage by national and international media, with live broadcasting on television and streaming make Transgrancanaria one of the most watched trail running races in the world with an audience that exceeds 1.5 million viewers.
