The North Face Transgrancanaria marked the third event of the Gran Canaria World Trail Majors. During the event, the partnership with Gran Canaria as the title sponsor was announced. The event commenced under warm weather and sunny skies, setting a perfect stage… until the main race, the Classic. The night brought tough conditions—cold, rain, fog, and challenges for both competitors and volunteers. This is the resume in video of the 2024 edition.

Black Canyon Ultras 2024 was a highly competitive race, the second event in the Gran Canaria World Trail Majors series, showcasing a fierce battle among some of the world’s top trail runners. The video should capture the high level of competition on display.
MIUT MADEIRA TEST THE RUNNERS, VICTORIES FOR DHIMAN AND VALMASSSOI
The Portuguese Island of Madeira is a benchmark location for trail running. A unique geography for the enjoyment of outdoor sports is combined with excellent event organisers, plus the support of the local authorities who understand the benefits of sustainable tourism. The main event of the island is undoubtedly MIUT – Madeira Island Ultra-Trail and Ben Dhiman and Martina Valmassoi wrote their names in the books of the race.
For Gran Canaria World Trail Majors, it was back to back races on opposite sides of the world, as soon as Mt.FUJI 100 was finishing, the starting pistol on the Portuguese island was sounding, a weekend that brought together two of the best ultra trail races, both part of the Gran Canaria World Trail Majors series.
