The South Downs Way 100 is a 100-mile (160-kilometer) point-to-point race that follows the historic South Downs Way national trail through rolling terrain, past ancient Roman forts, and through picturesque villages in southern England.

Some of the paths may be muddy, and the chalk in some sections can be slippery, making them technical in places, especially in exposed ridgelines.

The race almost finishes on the coast of the English Channel in Eastbourne, after multiple short climbs and descents typical of the country’s terrain. It is a perfect way to experience trail running in the United Kingdom.
